A Celebration of the Yule Log select Friday evenings in December at Colonial Williamsburg! Open to the Public

Fridays, December 1, 8, 15, 2022 from 6 pm – 7:30 pm

This is one of our favorite events to start of the Christmas time celebration at Colonial Williamsburg. Follow the Yule log, hauled by wagon, from Capitol Circle to Market Square, accompanied by music, festivity, lighting of the cressets, and the community of 18th-century and present-day Williamsburg. Make a wish and toss a sprig of greenery into the bonfire. This is a free public event Learn more.
Make sure to visit all the events going on these Grand Illumination Weekend in Colonial Williamsburg!

While you are down in Colonial Williamsburg make sure to enjoy the evening programs, ice skating at the Liberty Ice Pavilion and lighting of the cressets!
