Youth Aeronautics Educational Foundation (YAEF) – Providing hands on training to engage kids ages 9 – 18

The Youth Aeronautics Educational Foundation (YAEF) is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization founded in 2007. Our mission is to developed aeronautic programs that provides hands-on training to engage kids ages 9 – 18 in STEM disciplines.  

The mission of the Youth Aeronautics Educational Foundation (YAEF) is to conduct programs in aeronautics for underserved, at-risk and other youth and to expose young minds to careers in the fields of aviation, engineering and technology.  As a 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation, YAEF provides hands-on training for youth to engage them in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) concepts and expose them to fields and careers previously perceived as unattainable.

We have put together a dedicated team to provide youth with the most thrilling and rewarding aviation experience possible.  Our programs, with professional instructors, provide high standards of aviation training for youth from ages 9 through 18, and are designed to provide students with hands-on activities that can be applied to their school curriculum and also meet the Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL).  The aviation training and hands-on activities engage students in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) concepts which they can relate to the real world.  For more information on Camps and Classes, please click here
