Description: | The Historic Rivers Chapter of Virginia Master Naturalist will give a talk about how, what, and when to prune native plants. There will also be a hands on demonstration as the plants in the Native Plant Arboretum will get some needed care. Bring your own pruning tools if you wish. Please call for reservations. |

Description: | “Leave only footprints, take only photographs” during this ranger/photographer guided hike. Capture images of interesting wildlife and inspiring landscapes. Shutterbugs of all levels and all types of cameras are welcome. The walks in January & February will take place at Croaker Landing at 7:00 a.m. to capture sunrise and waterfowl images. |

Description: | Our seasonal bird of prey returns to the Chesapeake Bay region. This ranger guided hike highlights the Osprey’s role in the estuarine ecosystem. Guests are encouraged to bring cameras and viewing gear. Savor the view of these majestic birds feeding, nesting, and soaring along Taskinas Creek and the York River. |
