York County Trash and Recycling Collection – Holiday 2014 Schedule

NOTICE:

The Administrative Office at the Waste Management center will be closed on December 24^th, 25^th, 31^st, 2014 and January 1^st, 2015 in observance of the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.  All operations at the center including the transfer station, citizen drop off areas for both trash and recycling as well as the VPPSA Compost Facility will be closed on Christmas Day, December 25th and New Year’s Day, January 1^st, 2015.  All other operations at the center will be open regular hours on Christmas Eve, December 24^th and New Year’s Eve December 31^st except for the VPPSA Compost Facility which will close at noon on December 24^th.

Trash collection for Thursday, December 25^th and Thursday, January 1^st will be cancelled and moved to the next day each week.  Thursday’s pickup will be on Friday, and Friday’s pickup will be on Saturday. All other collections for the week will occur on their regularly scheduled collection day.

Recycling collection for Thursday, December 25^th and Thursday, January 1^st will be cancelled and moved to the next day for each week.  Thursday’s collection will occur on Friday and Friday’s collection will occur on Saturday.  All other collections will occur on their regularly scheduled collection day.

Please make sure all containers are at the roadside by 7:00 am on your collection day to ensure collection.
