Into the Woods, at first glance, is a retelling of popular fairy tales – Cinderella, Little Red, Jack, Rapunzel, a Witch, a Giant – with the addition of a new story about a baker and his wife. As you would expect, the characters go Into the Woods to find their wish: be it a prince or gold or beauty or a child, and they meet with obstacles along the way. But the story doesn’t end when they find their “happily ever after.” The story follows a baker and his wife who wish to have a child, Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King’s Festival, and Jack who wishes his cow would give milk. When the baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a witch’s curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone’s wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results. Be sure to get your tickets today!

A word of caution: Act II may not be suitable for very young children.
