W&M Bookstore is moving locations
W&M Bookstore is moving to the Triangle Building
The William & Mary Bookstore, is operated by Barnes & Noble College and is located in Merchants Square, but not for long. Barnes and Noble announced that it is moving the William & Mary Bookstore to the Triangle Building, 601 Prince George St. before fall 2021. The current W&M Bookstore location will close in June of 2021.
The new W&M Bookstore will still have W&M merchandise and some trade books. Textbooks will be purchased or rented online through the store’s website.
The new Williamsburg and Mary Bookstore location will have outdoor seating and will run in store events and programs.
Other Triangle Building businesses include The Bake Shop Bakery & Coffee Bar, Rick’s Cheese Steak Shop and Luck Kee Hair. The Triangle Building is on a triangular plot of land with sides on Prince George Street, Scotland Street and Armistead Avenue.
No announcement has been made as to what business will go into the Bookstore’s location in Merchants Square.
