ABOUT THE FACILITATORS
Diana McSpadden is a survivor of prenatal and postpartum depression and mother of two. She is a working mother, cyclist, yogini, computer geek, runner, and sometimes vegetarian, who loves reading books to children, sleeping late (which mean 7:30AM these days), and eating dessert.
She survived PPD after her first child was born because of the love and care from her husband, her extended family, her friends and her psychiatrist.

Jean Jackson has 20+ years as a Master’s prepared Psychiatric Nurse Clinician. She is also certified in Holistic Nursing and Bereavement Counseling. She is currently one of the Leaders of the Stephen Ministry program at Bruton Parish Church in Williamsburg, VA. Stephen Ministry was founded in 1974, with more than 450,000 trained volunteers in over 10,000 congregations nationwide. Stephen Ministers provide a caring, non-judgmental and confidential presence without regard to the
faith, race, or national origin, in the lives of those they serve.
