Williamsburg Celebrates Art – Plein Air Festival
All month long area artists paint at beautiful locations throughout the Historic Triangle. The works they create will be on display and for sale in the Bruton Parish Church Hall on Duke of Gloucester Street from 9:00a.m. – 5:00p.m. Artists will participate in a “Quick Draw” during the day and those works will be displayed and for sale at 4:30 p.m. Wine and refreshments sales benefit Housing Partnerships of Williamsburg. Duke of Gloucester Street in front of Barnes and Noble, Williamsburg Free admission.
Artists can participate in two ways:

Paint en plein air anywhere and bring your completed works to Williamsburg on September 20, 2014 for Show & Sell in the Festival Tent at 331 Duke of Gloucester Street ($30 entry fee).

Paint en plein air in Williamsburg during the Quick Paint, 7am – 3pm on Saturday, September 20, 2014 ($30 entry fee).

Participate in both events for a reduced combined entry fee of $50.
Compete for cash prizes of $1,500, $1,000 and $500 during the 3pm show judging. Wet art is for sale to the public from 4-5pm in Festival Tent ($30 Show & Sell entry fee or do it all for a reduced combined fee of $50).
