Where to Pick Blueberries in Williamsburg and Near By

Where to Pick Your Own Blueberries in Williamsburg and surrounding towns!

It’s the end of JUNE so it’s blueberry season in the Burg. Our favorite spot is always College Run Farm because it involves taking the free Jamestown-Scotland Ferry across the James River and College Run sells their homemade blueberry ice cream!! But if you need a Williamsburg location try the Millfarm Christmas Trees & Berry Farm (yes, not just for your Christmas Trees)! See more info on these farms below….

College Run Farms has Blueberry Picking Summer 2024

Great News! The farm will reopen on Thursday, June 27th for their Summer Season! Come for some amazing blueberry picking as they celebrate their 16th Blueberry Season Anniversary! Their ice cream shop will also be open with yummy, homemade, blueberry ice cream! They will be open from 9am-6pm.

The cost to pick is $5 per pint or $9 per quart and they provide the picking containers for you to keep. Their homemade ice cream will also be for sale, including our famous blueberry flavor. 🙂 We hear that they will have sweet corn available soon!

Grab the kids and hop on the ferry to Surry and go to College Run Farms for an afternoon of picking berries or whatever is in season.  They have amazing pumpkins in the fall too!  Homemade ice cream and picnic tables to eat the lunch you packed.  Make a day of it, you and your kids will love it, oh and the Scotland Ferry is free!

Always check ahead for picking conditions. www.collegerunfarms.com
