Want to start a book group? Basic Book Club Training @ WRL – June 7, 2014
Book Group Basic Training
Are you interested in running a fun book group that gets to the heart of your reading? Join this daylong workshop led by WRL’s Readers’ Services Librarian, Andrew Smith. We’ll talk about making sure everyone in your group is getting the most out of it, selecting books for good discussions, and figuring out whose turn it is to bring the brownies. Registration isn’t required, but you can let us know you’re coming (or ask questions) at 259-4050. (We’ll also be talking about ways new book groups can get started, so if you aren’t already part of one, we might be able to do some matchmaking.)
