Walsingham Academy announces new scholarship opportunity

Catherine McAuley Distinguished Scholars Program
Catherine McAuley Distinguished Scholars Program offers full, 4-year scholarships to students who have distinguished themselves as outstanding leaders and scholars within their communities. Annually, applicants for the9th grade will be honored with this prestigious award. Each scholar will begiven this scholarship for the entire tenure of his or her enrollment atWalsingham Academy, as long as the student continues to display the level of commitment and achievement that enabled him or her to be eligible for the initial award.
In order to be eligible for the Scholars Program, candidates must be among the top 10% in national standardized testing, have a grade point average of 3.7 or higher, and meet all requirements for admission to Walsingham Academy in addition to completing the application below. For information regarding testing, please call the Walsingham Academy Admissions Office at (757) 259-1430 to receive more information. This scholarship application must be submitted along with the admissions application materials by February 3, 2014. Finalists will be contacted by February 14, 2014, to interview on the WalsinghamAcademy campus. Award winners will be contacted March 3, 2014. Visit www.walsingham.org/
