Volunteer to Play the Role of a Juror for W&M Law School!
The Center for Legal and Court Technology at William and Mary Law School is looking for people to play the role of jurors for its upcoming lab trial, during which it will examine the use of technology for foreign language interpretation and evidence presentation as part of a simulated racketeering trial. Volunteers will be asked how effective they found the technology used during the trial and to reach a verdict in this mock case.
**Please contact Christine Williams at crwilliams@wm.edu or 757-221-3836 to volunteer or for more information.**
Each year the Center conducts at least one experimental trial. These lab trials explore how technology can be used to enhance the administration of justice. In conducting the trials, the Center often works with major national organizations such as the Department of Justice and the Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Law students gain significant real world experience by serving as counsel for the trials, while distinguished federal and state judges often preside over the trials.
