Yorktown Valentine’s Market

Yorktown Valentine Market on Saturday, February 10 from 10am-2pm. Visit this special winter market, and shop your favorite vendors and artists selling locally grown, produced, and uniquely crafted products that are sure to please that special someone. In addition, you’ll find our usual awesome selection of baked goods, fresh meats and produce, sweet treats, and so much more!


Love Letters Photo Op

LOVE letters are on the Riverwalk in Yorktown! Snap a picture with the LOVE letters in Yorktown – they are seasonally decorated! And while you are at the Winter Market in Yorktown on Saturday, Feb 10 from 10 am to 2 pm you can take a picture with cupid…follow directions in image below!!

Williamsburg Farmers Market – Saturday, February 10

Stroll Duke of Gloucester Street and enjoy the friendly vendors at the Williamsburg Farmers Market special Valentine’s Day Market on Saturday, February 10 from 8 am to noon. (Rain or shine). Pickup something local and special for your Valentine (or just for yourself). This is the only market in February so don’t miss it. The regular market schedule starts March 16, 2024. Mardi Gras at Busch Gardens with your Valentine!

Busch Gardens is celebrating Mardi Gras! So, grab your Valentine and head out for a day/night of delights! They have an amazing show call Carnaval Imaginique that you just do not want to miss and it included in admission. They are also running both Fun Card and Membership sales right now – so it is a great time to get your passes. AND don’t forget to register your kids (5 years old and under) for the FREE 2 Park Preschool Pass that gives unlimited entrance to both Busch Gardens and Water Country USA all spring and summer long! Ice Skate outdoors in Colonial Williamsburg only a few weeks left!

If you are up for a little outdoor time this Valentine’s Weekend – make sure to walk the beautiful DoG St. and you can always go ice skating. Liberty Ice Pavilion is open through February 27, 2024! Also for the last few weeks they are running special weekday discounts for different groups:

  • Chamber of Commerce Mondays – Staff members at the Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce can skate at Liberty Ice Pavilion for $10 on Mondays. Skate rentals not included.
  • Merchants Square Tuesdays – Tenants in Merchants Square can skate at Liberty Ice Pavilion for $10 on Tuesdays. Skate rentals not included.
  • Colonial Williamsburg Wednesdays – CW staff can skate at Liberty Ice Pavilion for $10 on Wednesdays. Skate rentals not included.

Valentine Chocolate Decorating Workshop • Ages 7-13
Feb. 2 & 9 from 5-7pm, $25
James City County Recreation Center 
Ice a double layer heart shaped cake and decorate with Valentine’s Day colors using buttercream icing. Learn to make stars, zig zags, and dots with icing bags and decorating tips. Note food allergies at registration. Instructor: The Williamsburg Chocolatier, Inc.
