Holly Fork Farm – Pumpkin Patch

(it is less than 30 min from Williamsburg)

Holly Fork Farm has pumpkin picking, and so much more!

Pick your own pumpkin or get a pre picked pumpkins/gourd. Visit with animals onsite. Food for purchase ($). Admission includes: Play/game/cornbox fun area, tire fun area, hayride and/or trolley ride. Additional farm activities include jump pad ($), hayride ($), Pumpkin launcher ($). Vendors on site on the weekends. As long as weather permits all activities should be up and running such as the scarecrow slide… Jump castles.. jump pad.

Hours are Fri. & Sat. 10 am to 7:30 pm., Sun.- Thur. 10 am to 7 pm. Last day of the fall season is Oct. 31st.


Peace Hill Farm

18401 The Glebe Lane, Charles City County, Va 23030

Corn maze is open, $5 per guest, 4 and under are free. Visit any time between 9 am and 4 pm, Wednesday through Sunday. Purchase tickets onsite or online.

This Farm is a “Farm Event” not a pumpkin patch.

Family fun…with an eerie edge! Haunted Homestead and Weird Woods will be on Sunday, October 15 beginning at 12:30 until 8:30 pm. Tickets are $10 for 11 and up, $5 for ages 3-10, 2 and under free. Refreshments, drinks, adult beverages, fire pit, smores, live music, Halloween goats (pat and feed them!), games and activities. Purchase tickets at the door

College Run Farms

2051 Alliance Road, Surry VA
They are about an hour from Williamsburg via the free and fun Jamestown/Scotland Ferry

College Run Farms has a corn maze and pumpkins of all different shapes and sizes.  If you are looking for the unusual pumpkins this is your spot.  They also have the most delicious homemade ice cream!! They are open 7 days a week in October from 10am-6pm.

Dardens Country Store – Pumpkin Patch

16249 Bowling Green Rd Smithfield, VA 23430
Corner of Bowling Green Rd & Carroll’s Bridge Rd. Located between Rt.10 & Rt.258

You can go thru Newport News or hop on the free ferry to get to this patch. Either way you are looking at just over an hour trip!

Pumpkins, Gourds, Mums, Hay Bales, Corn Stalks and Yard Art – they have it! Corn maze and kids activities. (kids activities are free).
Open: Monday-Friday: 8am-6pm, Saturday: 8am-5pm and Sunday: 12-5pm
Kids Activity Hours: Weekdays: 2pm-6pm, Saturday: 10am-5pm and Sunday: 12pm-5pm


Great Bridge Pumpkin Patch

Just a little over an hour from Williamsburg VA

Pumpkin picking, Playland, Hay Rides! Playland is $19 (all day for kids ages 2-12). Hay rides are $4 each, little ones that are on your lap are free.

This season’s hours: Open daily 9 am – 8 pm, Sunday 9 am – 7 pm.


Hunt Club and Farm

Hunt Club is about 1 hour and 20 min from Williamsburg

The Hunt Club Farm Fall Harvest Fair opens daily 10am – 6pm through October 31st.

Hunt Club Farm is a 32 acre family-owned farm in the heart of Virginia Beach. Petting farm, seasonal events, market and more at Hunt Club. Kids activities include straw pile, pony ride, hayride, carnival rides, TreeWalk Adventure, and DJ music (on the weekends). 


LLoyd Family Farm

12204 Pinhook Road, Rockville
(just over an hour drive from Williamsburg area)

Looking for pumpkins and a fun activity to do with the kids? Well here is a great one! Hop in the car and head out to Lloyd Family Farms they are open open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9am to 5pm thru October 30th.  Admission is $12 per person, and kids two and under enter free!

Admission includes hayride, corn crib, see the many animals, a corn maze, the straw castle with pipe slides, a sand pile, the giant pinball field, various yard games, and access to pumpkin patch! Local food trucks on site.


Pumpkinville – Pumpkin Patch

Opening daily at 9am. Great selection of pumpkins, gourds, mums, corn stalks, fall decorations, kettle corn and much more! Free hayride, corn maze and play area for the kids. Various vendors, food trucks and bounce houses on the weekends.
