Theater Camps at Walsingham
Acting for TV and Movies meets from 9 am to 2 pm June 22 to 26 and June 29 to July 2. Campers learn how acting for the camera is different than acting on stage. They will be videotaped most every day and review their work with the instructor to improve their performance. They will learn auditioning skills, movie scripts and terminology, Campers will tape TV commercials and a short movie and will each receive a DVD with their on camera work.
Cost is $300 covering both weeks.
Instructor is Judy Ziegler, owner of Nova Marketing Media video production company and Executive Director of Generic Theater for Kids in Norfolk.

Musical Theater Camp meets June 8-12 and June 15-19 from 9 am to 2 pm with a performance for family and friends at 1 pm on Friday June 19. Campers will learn stage directions, play theater games, do improvisations. Campers will sing, act and do basic movements and perform in scenes from a popular musical with all campers having speaking parts. Cost is $325 covering both weeks.
