The James River Association is excited to offer A Taste of the James event on Saturday, September 27. This event will feature many different “tastes” including delicious seafood and other great food, a full bar, including local beer and wine, water/nature themed art, history, unique auction items, and lots of fun and educational children’s activities.
The goal of the event is to create awareness for the James River Association and our important work to protect America’s Founding River, as well as to provide much needed operating support to support our programs. Artist Bob Oller is Art Directing this new riverfront event that takes place just off Jamestown Road near the Jamestown-Scotland Ferry Dock across from Jamestown Settlement.
Attendees will be able to order limited edition giclee prints that will inaugurate a Lower Waters of the James: America’s Founding River artwork series.
