Taskinas Trek – hike, dogs welcome – Feb. 6, 2015

gazette picThe Taskinas Creek Trail is gaining a reputation as one of the most scenic and challenging hikes east of I-95. This three mile trail has a series of steep ravines that wind down to secluded bogs. There are also gorgeous overlooks of the Taskinas Creek Marsh which is home to various birds, fish, and mammals. Take the ranger guided hike through this interesting ecosystem. Bring water and a snack, but remember to pack in – pack out. Dogs on leashes are welcome. Parking is $4 per vehicle
