Magic Academy: Deck Building – Saturday, November 23rd, at 6 PM
About the Event: Magic Academy: Deck Building is the next step for players who have learned the basics and are ready to delve deeper into deck construction and strategy. In this event, participants will receive six booster packs to build a 40-card deck, focusing on understanding card synergies, mana curves, and strategic play. It’s an excellent opportunity to enhance your skills and prepare for more advanced play.
Who Can Play: This event is open to everyone, and is an ideal next step for players who have participated in Magic Academy: Learn to Play or have some experience with Magic and want to improve their deck-building skills. Our staff will be available to offer guidance, answer questions, and help you refine your strategies. It’s a casual and friendly setting where you can learn, play, and grow as a Magic player.
🚀 Get Ready for HALO Flashpoint Day! 🚀November 23rd at 1pm
We’re excited to host HALO Flashpoint at Tap N Roll! Whether you’re a HALO superfan or just looking to try something new, we’ve got an awesome day planned for you. This learn-to-play event is perfect for newcomers, and we’ll guide you through everything you need to get started. No experience? No problem!
What’s HALO Flashpoint? It’s a tactical miniatures game set in the HALO universe where you command your favorite characters, vehicles, and units in exciting, strategy-packed battles. Think friendly competition with plenty of room for fun and learning.
What’s Happening?
- Learn to Play: We’ll teach you the ropes and get you up to speed on the game.
- Casual Play: After you’ve learned, jump into a friendly match against others and see how your strategies hold up.
- No Pressure, Just Fun: This is a laid-back, fun event where the focus is on enjoying the game and meeting fellow HALO fans!
Whether you’re into HALO or just looking for a new miniatures game to dive into, HALO Flashpoint is the place to be on November 23rd at 1pm. Come for the game, stay for the fun—and maybe even pick up a few new tips from other players! See you there! 🌌🎮
Pokémon Tween & Teen Meetup!
Calling all Pokémon fans—it’s time to meet up, battle, and have some fun! We’re hosting our very first Pokémon Tween & Teen Meetup on November 24th at 2pm and we want YOU to be there!
Whether you’re a seasoned Trainer or just starting your Pokémon journey, this casual and friendly event is all about having fun, trading cards, and battling with other tweens and teens in the community.
Here’s the plan:
- Casual battles: Show off your decks and try out new strategies.
- Trading: Looking for that special card? Bring your extras and see what you can swap!
- Meet new friends: This is a great chance to connect with other Pokémon fans your age in a laid-back setting.
No need to be a competitive pro—we’re here to have fun and enjoy the game together! So bring your best deck, your friends, and get ready for some Pokémon fun on [Event Date] at Tap N Roll!

Join in for their weekly Lorcana League play in November on Tuesdays at 6 pm
Pokemon League is a fun and accessible way for Pokémon fans to get together and have some fun! League events are open to all players regardless of experience level or skill. Using your own cards, you can play, trade, and even earn cool prizes! The best part is that you can do all this with other Pokémon players who love collecting and playing just as much as you do.
Pokémon League events are a great way to learn game basics and get the feel for Pokémon competitive play before beginning to compete in Pokémon tournaments.
The first step to participating in Play! Pokémon events such as Pokémon League is to set up a Pokémon Trainer Club account. Once you have set up your Pokémon Trainer Club account, you can track the events you attend and earn Championship Points and Play! Points. You’ll earn one Play! Point for every Pokémon League season you attend.
A Pokémon Trainer Club account is not required to participate in League events. However, players who do not have Trainer Club accounts and who are not opted in to the Play! Pokémon program cannot track their event progress, receive exclusive League distributions, or compete in Championship Series events such as League Cups and League Challenges.
Each player will be entered into a tournament of 3 rounds of Swiss, players will be rewarded with a standard Booster Pack per round win, and the winner of the tournament will take home the special Standard Showdown Promo!
Thursdays mean Standard format at Tap N Roll! And Cowboy Bebop promos! And starting August 8th, you can earn a Cowboy Bebop promo card by winning weekly Standard Showdown events held at Tap N Roll. There are five special promo cards, all of them traditional foil. Each of them will be distributed during specific time windows!
- February 7, 2025 – March 2, 2025: Lightning Strike
- April 4, 2025 – May 29, 2025: Snakeskin Veil
Magic Draft – Bloomburrow – Friday, September 6 at 7 pm
Draft Magic’s newest set; Bloomburrow! Each player will receive 3 Play Boosters for a Traditional Draft, followed by 3 rounds of Swiss Play. Players will earn 1 additional Play Booster of Bloomburrow for each round win!
