Snow Days are the BEST but once the excitement wears off and Frosty is standing in the front yard the days tend to get long. Never fear here is our list of  ‘Snow Much Fun’ in the ‘Burg to keep your kids (and you) from climbing the walls.

  1. Ice Skating at Liberty’s Ice Pavilion in Colonial Williamsburg.
  2. The Art Museum of Colonial Williamsburg now has FREE ADMISSION!!!
  3. Jamestown Yorktown Settlement – Remember local residence get in free.
  4. American Revolution Museum at Yorktown – Remember local residence get in free.
  5. The Library Here is this week’s library event list.
  6. Sledding Guide!  – Find the “hot” spots in and around the ‘Burg in this list!
  7. School Crossing Toy Store – Stop by and find a little something new to keep the kids busy – or visit their play area. What child wouldn’t want to spend a little time in an actual TOY STORE! See their FB page for a reel on Snow Day fun
  8. Tabitha Sewer Studio – FREE Event on Saturday 1/11 – Vision Boards FREE event but they need you to register! Start your year off right with all your goals laid out. Call them at 757-332-1861 to get your spot at the event. (While you are there ask about their memberships!)
  9. Paint on Pottery: Grab the family and go paint a plate, mug, figurine or dog bowl! They have a huge selection of items and staff on hand to answer any questions. They will fire the items and have them ready for pick up in about a week!
  10. Tap N Roll – You’ll find an extensive selection of board games, card games, and role-playing games at Tap N Roll. From family-friendly classics to the latest strategic hits, there’s something for every type of player – perfect snow day activity! They have a Teen/Tween Pokemon Meetup this Sunday 1/12
  11. Movie Tavern & Regal Movies in New Town – perfect chance to catch the latest block buster ….etc!
  12. Mariners Museum & Park – $1 Admission for all!  This is a wonderful museum and you cannot beat the price. 
  13. Don’t forget your Good Neighbor Pass gets you a discount on ice skating for all ages on week days AND free admission to CW! (Kids under 6 get free admission to CW)
  14. Pinterest – Check our Pinterest Board for “Snow Much Fun” crafts and activities all centered around the snow.
