Sinfonicron Light Opera Company presents Kiss Me Kate — January 21-24, 2016
The Sinfonicron Light Opera Company will be putting on a production of Kiss Me Kate for one weekend only, January 21st-24th, 2016, on the Main Stage of Phi Beta Kappa Memorial Hall. The show will be produced, directed, staffed, and performed entirely by students at the College of William & Mary.
Samuel and Bella Spewack’s comedic tale, Kiss Me, Kate, tells the story of an ex-husband and wife who are cast opposite of each other in a musical adaptation of The Taming of the Shrew. When gangsters appear to collect on some mistaken debts and dramatic romantic entanglements begin to seep into the show, all chaos breaks loose. With flashy dance numbers and music by the legendary Cole Porter, this show is sure to be a delight for musical theater lovers of all ages.
