Set Sail This Summer with the Seaford Yacht Club’s Junior Sailing Camp
Are you looking for an exciting and educational summer adventure for your child? The Seaford Yacht Club Junior Sailing Program is offering a Learn to Sail Summer Camp for ages 8-18, providing young sailors with the opportunity to develop sailing skills, build confidence, and have fun on the water!
A Fun & Educational Sailing Experience
This week-long camp introduces participants to basic sailing techniques using a variety of sailboats, including the Opti, Laser, and 420. With hands-on instruction, campers will learn how to rig and sail a boat while developing teamwork and leadership skills.
For those looking to take their sailing to the next level, Session 6 (July 28 – August 1) offers an Introduction to Racing Sailboats, specifically designed for ages 10-18 who have prior experience in at least one sailing camp.
More Than Just a Camp!
Each camper will receive:
- A free T-shirt
- A pizza lunch on the last day
- A special family showcase, where parents can watch their child sail
- A slideshow of the week’s activities
- A certificate of completion
