Scares That Care presents AuthorCon 5 – Williamsburg is almost upon us! Not ONLY will there be over 150 authors, but there are also amazing events happening! There is a Midnight Pals performance, Psycic and Medium Dakota Lawrence, Relaxation and Wellness Session, and a Murder Mystery event. All this along with readings and Q&A panels!

AuthorCon V, three day convention focuses on some of the best and brightest authors in the business.
Every year, Scares That Care gives a gift of $10,000 to three individuals: a breast cancer patient, a burn victim, and a sick child. See this years recipients here.

What is Scares that Care? Scares That Care mission each year, is to raise $30,000 to present $10,000 each to THREE families.

  • A family with a sick child
  • a member battling breast cancer
  • someone who has suffered burns

Scares that Care is an all volunteer organization and all net proceeds go directly to the families they support who are experiencing hardships as a result of their medical conditions.
