Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church Oktoberfest, Oct. 11
On Saturday, October 11, 2014, from 1pm to 7pm. Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church will hold the 2nd Annual Oktoberfest which will include wine tasting, hors d’oeuvres, silent and live auction, and a Biergarten with German music, food, and, of course, bier (beer).
The purpose of this event is to raise funds to renovate and upgrade Our Saviour’s kitchen to a commercial one. Last year, more than $18,000 was raised. To date, there is $30,000 in the Kitchen Renovation Fund toward the goal of $90,000 (or a bit more). With a professional kitchen, meeting the standard of the Commonwealth, Our Saviour’s and organizations using the Parish Hall, may be able to expand services to the community.
