Richmond Debate Institute offers Residential and Day Summer Camps
Richmond Debate Institute annual 1-week program at VCU introduces students to competitive speech and debate. Students will have the opportunity to develop their cases and compete in final debate tournament at the end of the camp week.
Middle School Commuter Camp: Introduces students competitive speech and debate. Campers will participate in scheduled lessons, mock debates, games, and compete in a final tournament at the end of the week.
High School Commuter Camp: Ideal for students who are interested in excelling in speech and debate. Instructors inspire students to craft well structured arguments. High school students will participate in scheduled lessons, mock debates, and compete in a final tournament at the end of the week.
Overnight Camp: Daily classes, team dinners, library study sessions, and evening socials. Experience university dorms and accommodations.
