Stars aren’t the only things that shine at night—REV3 Glow runners do too! Come on out for an evening of family fun, where you can take part in a 5K or 1-mile fun run dressed to the hilt with glow sticks and all things bright and shiny. Flash and sparkle your way around the course and then relax and watch a movie as the day slowly fades away.
The 5K and 1-mile fun run will be untimed, so if you want to take your time and soak in the evening, you won’t have the pressure of a clock to beat. Each entrant will receive a glow-in-the-dark T-shirt, a glow stick, and access to a post-race movie and snacks.
Before we send everyone off glowing around the course, we will be handing out special prizes for Glow runners who are the brightest, most flashy, and most reflective. Time to get ready to GLOW!
Event schedule and times
Thank you for your interest in the REV3Glow Run! We are very excited to be hosting this race in conjunction with the Revolution3 Triathlon weekend.
The 5K and 1-mile fun run will be untimed. We will have an official race clock for finishers to see their time, but we won’t be posting any official results. So get ready to come out and enjoy an evening run with family and friends and experience a REV3Glow event.
During packet pickup each entrant will receive their goodies: a glow-in-the-dark T-shirt, a glow stick, and a bib number. Below you will find all the event information.
Please be sure to like us on Facebook at REV3Glow. We post the most up-to-date information there.
If you have friends who are on the fence about running, we are sure you can convince them to come on out. Online registration will be open until 2pm on the day of the event, and we will have on-site registration available during packet pickup. Make sure you use the team registration or MOB options if you have three or more buddies coming out to get a discounted rate.
Registration options
- Coming out on your own? Register as an individual.
- Are there three or more of you coming out to enjoy the fun? Sign up as a group and get $5 off per entry. If you know how many people are in your group ahead of time and want to pay all together, use the normal group registration option.
- Want to create dynamic team? Use the MOB option. This will let you create a team and invite others to join. There is a $5 discount per team member after an initial team creation fee of $5.
Start Times
The 5K run will start 10 minutes before sunset. The 1-mile fun run will start 5 minutes before the 5K run. Start times may be adjusted slightly depending on the lighting conditions, so be sure to watch out for the pre-Glow email that will contain all the last-minute information about the event. This will appear in your inbox the Tuesday before the event.
Packet Pickup
Packet pickup will be available at the Rev3 Triathlon Expo at the event address 3 hours before the event start. If there is an early packet pickup, this information will be in the pre-Glow email.
Course
The course map will be posted two weeks before the event.
Aid Stations
There will be water and Gatorade on the course.
Gear
For the REV3Glow run you will need a pair of running shoes and your normal running attire. Plus you can add to your outfit anything that makes you stand out in a crowd. Let’s see how bright and colorful you can glow! You can win prizes for having the brightest, flashiest, and most reflective attire. (Start planning your outfit!)
Food
An abundance of popcorn and water will be served during the movie under the stars. Bring a blanket and a lawn chair to enjoy the movie in cozy comfort.
