Remembering Names – Dale Carnegie Training Eastern Virginia – June 11

On June 11, 2015 from 12 to 1 p.m., Paul Ariola of Dale Carnegie Training Eastern Virginia will present “Remembering Names” in the sixth Pink Bag Lunch of the year, hosted by the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce (VPCC) at its offices in Hampton.

A large part of business life, connecting with new people and networking to grow a company is maintaining relationships with people, which requires keeping track of names. Attendees to this Pink Bag Lunch will learn to how to focus on people as individuals, how to create a positive first impression and methods to remember names.

The luncheon is scheduled to begin at noon, and includes 10 minutes of business networking, where members are encouraged to make business connections and distribute business cards.

Lunch will be provided by one of VPCC’s 2015 Catering Sponsors.

The cost of the event is $5 for members and $10 for non-members.

Members attending are encouraged to also bring business handouts and giveaways to display on a table in the front lobby of the VPCC. Attendees can pick up any information at their convenience.

Ariola has served ten years in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsmen; Psychiatric Technician. While in this role he facilitated over 5,000 hours of training on such subjects as: anger management, stress management, life skills and group therapy.

As a Certified Dale Carnegie Trainer Paul has conducted more than 2,000 hours of training in such specific areas as: Effective Communications, Human Relations, Presentations, Leadership, Employee Engagement, Customer Service and Networking and has conducted several one-on-one Executive Coaching Sessions.
