Relay For Life Tribute Signs “Field of Hope“

Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, the Relay For Life of Williamsburg was cancelled for 2020. The American Cancer Society has lost $500 million as a result of the pandemic. The only problem is, cancer still exists. We are creating a “Field of Hope” which will display tribute signs to honor cancer survivors and patients and remember those we’ve lost to cancer. This will be a drive-by event at Walsingham Academy where anyone can come by and drive through and take the time to reflect, remember and honor those in the fight or those that lost their fight. There will be some parking available for those that wish to get out of the car and spend some time with their sign(s). All signs will be spaced to comply with COVID 19 safety requirements. The hope is that this event will bring our community together and give us a chance to raise some important funds for ACS to continue the fight against cancer.

Sign Options:

  • Blank Tribute Sign $20 – Deadline to purchase, decorate and return is September 26th. Decorate your own tribute sign in honor or in memory of someone. Pick up at The UPS Store at 1490-5A Quarterpath Road on July 24th from 5-6 pm; July 29th from 5-6 pm; or July 31st from noon-1 pm.
  • Name Only Sign $25 – Deadline to order is September 6th. Provide the name of someone “In Honor” or “In Memory.” Email information, photos or logos to Kaye Vickerman, kvickermanrelay4life@gmail.com or Sue Harmon, sbh91511@gmail.com.
  • Full Color with Photo – One sided print $50 – Deadline to order is September 6th. Provide the name of someone “In Honor” or “In Memory” with a .jpg photo and up to 10 words and we will create a sign for you.   • Company Sponsorship $100 – Deadline to order is September 6th. Display your business name on a track sign (logo and 3 lines provided). Email information, photos or logos to Kaye Vickerman, kvickermanrelay4life@gmail.com or Sue Harmon, sbh91511@gmail.com.
