The Virginia Cooperative Extension, James City County Williamsburg Master Gardeners, are offering a FREE visit to homeowners to demonstrate proper pruning techniques and use of appropriate tools. Registration will be by online application at our website www.jccwmg.org from December 12, 2013 – January 12, 2014. Home visits will be in February and early March. The goal of this program is to teach research-based pruning practices that help homeowners maintain an attractive landscape and healthy plants. These pruning practices will promote fewer diseases and less need for pesticides.
