Peninsula Executive Leadership Forum with David Masterson – November 11
Dave J. Masterson, President of Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center, will lead the Wednesday, November 11 Peninsula Executive Leadership Forum (PELF), the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce (VPCC) and Thomas Nelson Community College announced this week. The event runs from 8 to 9:30 a.m. and will take place at the Peninsula Workforce Development Center in Hampton.
Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is a 145-bed acute care hospital serving the greater Williamsburg area. Masterson joined Sentara in 2013, bringing more than 25 years of experience to Sentara.
Prior to joining Sentara, Masterson was the chief executive officer for Sampson Regional Medial Center in Clinton, NC. During his tenure there, Masterson implemented services to improve patient satisfaction scores and transformed performance improvement using lean methodology. As a patient advocate, Masterson prides himself on positive working relations with the medical and hospital staff. He is community minded and enjoys involvement in local activities and events.
Masterson is a Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives.
The mission of both the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce and Thomas Nelson Community College, who partner to present the annual programming, is to foster dialogue that inspires and motivates excellence in business leadership.

The cost to attend the forum is $25 and includes a light breakfast. Registration will open at 7:30 a.m. and the presentation will begin promptly at 8:15 a.m.
The presentation will be held at the Peninsula Workforce Development Center at 600 Butler Farm Rd in Hampton, Va.
