The Park-to-Park Bicycle Tour – Saturday, July 23

Come explore James City County parks in this annual self-guided bicycle tour!

The Park-to-Park Bicycle Tour is on Saturday, July 23, 8 a.m.- 2 p.m., depending on your ride option.

The rides begin at Chickahominy Riverfront Park. Choose from a family ride (ride as little or as much as you’d like), 15 miles, 30 miles or the Half Century ride (50 miles)! The 50 mile ride includes visits to Mid County Park, Powhatan Creek Trail, Freedom Park, Little Creek Reservoir Park and Upper County Park. Cool off after your ride with a dip in the CRP pool. Fee includes refreshments, pool admittance, maps, support vehicles to help out tired riders and lunch! The registration form is available online at jamescitycountyva.gov/recreation, at local bike shops, the James City County Recreation Center, the Freedom Park Interpretive Center and the Satellite Services Office in Toano. Registration also accepted onsite.

Family Ride or 15-mile Ride: 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m., $10/person
30-mile Ride: 8 a.m.-2 p.m., $15/person
Half Century 50-mile Ride: 8 a.m.-2 p.m., 20/person
