WILLIAMSBURG REGIONAL LIBRARY LAUNCHES ONLINE SOFTWARE TRAINING RESOURCE

Williamsburg Regional Library (WRL), in partnership with RBdigital from Recorded Books, launches Atomic Training, a comprehensive online database of how-to training tutorials covering popular Microsoft, Apple, Adobe and Google software programs.

Through the library’s website (www.wrl.org) WRL cardholders will have unlimited access to these videos in the library or at home. With in-depth software training tutorials to fit users’ needs, these videos help users of all ages improve job skills and become more proficient in basic computer applications. Mobile device training is also available, allowing users to learn how to get the most out of their smartphones and tablets.

Digital Services Director Barry Trott said “Atomic Training is an excellent complement to the library’s computer instruction program, allowing users to polish skills, to follow up on class training, and to expand their technology expertise.”

Please see a library staff member at any library location for information on how to access this service or go towww.wrl.org/training.
Williamsburg Regional Library consists of the James City County Library, Mobile Library Services, and the Williamsburg Library and serves more than 85,000 people in the City of Williamsburg, James City County, and York County. For the past six years, the national publication Library Journal has rated WRL as one of the best public libraries in the U.S. by naming it a Star Library.
