Looking for a NYE event that is for families? How about Noon Year’s Eve at the Virginia Living Museum? Ring in the Noon Year 2023 at the Virginia Living Museum! Join in for countdown science demonstrations. Enjoy activities, crafts, and fun throughout the day.
At 11am, 12pm and 1pm there will be countdowns with science demos, and other assorted experiments until 3pm. See animal enrichments throughout the day, and learn about some of the New Year’s resolutions our animals are making!
Activities Include:
- Upcycle Noise Maker Craft– Make a noise maker to ring in the new year using materials that can be reused.
- Resolution Wall– Eco-Friendly New Years Resolutions
- Science Activities — Make the new year explosive with stomp rockets and film canister rockets.
- Three New Year’s Count downs with Whoosh Bottles
- DJ with Dance floor
- Guests are invited to wear their party attire.
This event is expected to sell out. The VLM requests all attendees, member and non-member, to purchase admission tickets ahead of time. If the time you are looking for is not available, please choose the next closest time ticket.
