New Town Arts Festival – Glasswork demos, art sale, Sep. 11-13, 2014
Members of the Peninsula Glass Guild will exhibit their work and demonstrate techniques. Meet the artists accomplished in glass blowing, glass casting, fusing, torchworking, painting and engraving. Glass art of all descriptions from jewelry to sculpture will be for sale, created by area artists.
Opening Reception Thursday September 11, 5:00-8:00pm.
Live Music Friday September 12, 5:00-7:30pm DOG Street Rhythm Kings.
Artists will demonstrate Cameo and Intaglio Engraving and Vitreous Painting on glass throughout the gallery hours on Friday and Saturday. Refreshments served during all gallery hours. 10am – 8pm at Legacy Hall in New Town, 4301 New Town Avenue, Williamsburg, VA.
