New Quarter Park Public Archaeology Project – Recent Discoveries

After two successful public archaeology events at New Quarter Park, we will be returning to the site in York County for another two-day public archaeology session. We will continue our archaeological survey of the New Quarter Park site on Friday, September 26, and Saturday, September 27. This event is open to the public; please email us at fairfield@fairfieldfoundation.org if you are interested in participating!
New Quarter Park is located at 1000 Lakeshead Dr., near the Queen’s Lake neighborhood in York County, VA.
