If your child needs medical attention on the Peninsula there is now a pediatric care unit available to your family. The pediatric unit at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is a six-bed unit designed with pediatric patient needs in mind.
Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is the only hospital on the Peninsula offering a specialized pediatric care unit.
High-Quality, Specialized Medical Care
All children are assessed and treated by our caring and compassionate team that consists of registered nurses and board-certified pediatricians who specialize in the care of newborn, infants, children and adolescents.
Family-Friendly Rooms and Accommodations
Our pediatric rooms were designed with your child in mind. Each room is private and spacious, and can accommodate sleeping arrangements for parents and children. Each room has individual temperature monitoring to make your child’s stay as comfortable as possible. Parents who are visiting or staying with a child on the pediatric unit will receive complimentary meals delivered to the rooms. We also provide gaming systems in each room, complimentary Wi-Fi, and fun activities in our larger common play area.
