MercyMe performs May 11, 2014 at Busch Gardens® Glory at the Gardens™ concert series

  Fresh off the release of their ninth album, Welcome to the New, MercyMe will kick off the Glory at the Gardens™ concert series presented by Coca- Cola® on May 11.

     For 20 years, MercyMe has explored the impact that faith has on people’s lives through their signature blend of pop and Christian rock music. The Grammy nominated, American Music Award and eight-time Dove award-winning band is best known for the mega hit “I Can Only Imagine,” which became the first single in Christian music to go platinum when it surpassed 1,000,000 digital downloads in 2010. Additional concert dates in the Glory at the Gardens concert series presented by Coca-Cola will be announced soon.
Glory at the Gardens concerts are held at Busch Gardens’ Royal Palace Theatre. The theater’s gates open approximately two hours before the scheduled 7 p.m. performance.  All Glory at the Gardens concerts are included with park admission. For guests’ convenience complimentary tickets are distributed throughout the day at the park’s Guest Relations building. Tickets are distributed one-per-person on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. All party members must be present to receive tickets. Tickets are required for entry to the concert. Premium seating in a reserved area is also available with the purchase of concert and dinner packages.
