Memorial Mile in Williamsburg – Event Overview

Williamsburg Parks and Recreation would like to honor and remember the sacrifice of our fallen Military, Fire, Emergency Medical Services and Law Enforcement members by sharing their fallen hero stories at Waller Mill Park. During Memorial Day weekend, we honor those who were killed in the line of duty.

The public is invited to participate in the event by sharing their story about a fallen hero. tory about a fallen hero.  Information on how to submit a fallen hero story available at: https://bit.ly/2LadjiX. It is so important for us to continue to honor those that made the ultimate sacrifice. We hope this tribute can provide support and healing to those who grieve the loss of a loved one who was taken too soon.

Gone but not forgotten: our fallen heroes remembered. We need you to tell their story because they cannot.

Remembrance signs will be on display Friday, May 27, 2022 – Monday, May 30, 2022 at Waller Mill Park from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm located at 901 Airport Road, Williamsburg, VA  23188. All are welcome to visit the park and read the stories of those that were taken too soon.
