Matoaka Elementary's 5k and Fun Run 2013Join us for a morning of fun and fitness!

Matoaka Elementary and the Matoaka PTA encourage kids and families to live a healthy and active lifestyle so we hope you will join us for our annual 5K and family Fun Run, hosted by Matoaka Health & PE teacher Lisa Rock. The event will be held on Saturday, November 2 2013 on the “Cardinal Way” (Matoaka Nature Trail) as a kick-off to our PTA sponsored Healthy Lifestyles Week celebration.

Rain or shine, all levels of runners and walkers are welcome to participate as well as be eligible for drawing prizes. We want to see ALL family members participate! (Moms, dads, kids, siblings, grandparents!) Free healthy snacks and drinks will be available at the finish line. There will also be finisher awards and “raffle” items.
