Maritime Drama Camp

Rising 7th through High School

Enjoy an exciting summer learning experience that will combine theatrical training and the resources of The Mariners’ Museum. Participants with an interest in theater and maritime history will learn the basics of acting and the process of production as we bring stories of maritime history to life.

Designed for novices as well as those with theatrical production and acting experience, participants will enjoy producing and performing short one act plays through the course of the camp. Knowledge learned in this camp can help those who want to continue participating in theater or those who just want to feel more at ease in presenting class projects. Students will walk away with an increased enjoyment of theater and a greater appreciation of the lives of those who make history. Camp will conclude with a public performance at The Mariners’ Museum.

Dates:

  • July 25 – August 5

Cost: $325 for Members / $375 for non-members
