How to make rain barrels and self-watering garden containers – June 25, 2014
BARRELS AND BINS – On Wednesday, June 25th, at 7:00 pm, Master Gardener Dennis Wool will hold a demonstration on how to make rain barrels and self-watering garden containers. The focus will be on conservation of water and how to recycle it, but anyone who wants to order a unit after the presentation certainly may. As a Master Gardener, Mr. Wool fosters projects that focus on sharing ideas to support water and land conservation, improvements to home landscapes and gardens, turf management, and a wide range of activities for children through older adults. The Barrels and Bins workshop is scheduled for June 25 beginning at7pm at the Williamsburg Botanical Garden at Freedom Park. The program is free to the public.
