Bring the family to celebrate the region’s treasured resources – pork, pine and peanuts. Enjoy live entertainment all day and explore the historic grounds of one of America’s oldest continually farmed plantations. More than 100 arts-and-crafts vendors will be here. There will be demonstrations, mansion tours, children’s games and other activities. Bring an appetite for some of the best food Surry has to offer and don’t miss the BBQ cook-off. The Steam and Gas Show joins the festival this year. Don’t miss tractor-pull competition, including a kids’ tractor-pull competition. Antique farm equipment will be on display with demonstrations of farm equipment and a working saw mill. This is one of Virginia’s premiere festivals, all for only $5 per person. Kids under 12 get in free.
