Jr. NBA Skills Challenge Presented by Verizon

Boys and Girls Ages 13 and Younger
Registration is now open for a free new program that is sure to be a “slam dunk”! Offered in partnership with James City County Parks & Recreation and presented by Verizon, the Jr. NBA Skills Challenge competition is a local, regional and national competition for youth basketball players to showcase their skills in dribbling, shooting and rebounding.
The top three finishers in each age division at the local level will be eligible to compete at the regional level in Charlotte, North Carolina, to be scheduled sometime in March or April. First place finishers at the regional level win an all-expense paid trip to the national finals in New York City in June. National finalists will also participate in special events, interact with NBA/WNBA/G League players, legends and draftees, receive gift bags and attend the 2019 NBA Draft presented by State Farm.

Age of participants is determined as of their age on August 31, 2019 and is divided into the following categories: Girls 11 & younger (502210-A); Boys 11 & younger (502210-B); Girls 12-13 (502210-C); and Boys 12-13 (502210-D).
