The beachfront park package includes observation pier, a designated fishing area (a freshwater license is required), a building with restrooms and concessions, a launch area for paddle craft, an American with Disabilities Act accessible walkway including a beach mat to make water access easier, additional parking and outdoor rinse stations and spectacular views of the James River! Also featured are shaded picnic areas with picnic tables and charcoal grills. Guests may bring their own propane grill or use one of the Park’s charcoal grills. The beachfront park is dog-friendly too and leash requirements are posted onsite.
