Attend a Public Meeting

Public outreach meetings are town meetings conducted in various venues throughout the County. During these meetings staff will look to hear your feedback on community needs and important issues with a keen interest in those Board-identified areas of focus: land use, transportation and economic development.

The JCC Planning Division and CPT invite everyone who lives, works and plays in JCC to attend a Comprehensive Plan Community Workshop. Each workshop will focus on the topics of economic development, transportation and land use in the County as a whole but will spotlight one of three geographic regions. Participate in the meeting that is in your neighborhood.

Upper JCC Spotlight: Monday, June 9 –  7–9 p.m. – Toano Middle School – 7817 Richmond Rd.

Central JCC Spotlight: Tuesday, June 10 – 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. – King of Glory Lutheran Church – 4897 Longhill Rd. (Bring your own lunch)

Lower JCC Spotlight: Wednesday, June 11 – 6:30–8:30 p.m. – Little Zion Baptist Church – 8625 Pocahontas Trl.

Light refreshments will be provided. Community participation will impact the actions the County undertakes and the goals that are set for our future.
