It’s Mardi Gras Baby…Busch Gardens Williamsburg
Mardi Gras Celebration in Williamsburg
As they say in French, “Laissez les bons temps rouler” or “Let the Good Times Roll” and Busch Gardens Williamsburg sure is taking this to heart. The park will be open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays plus Presidents’ Day, January 26 – March 3, 2024.
This is a Mardi Gras celebration for the entire family or a date night. Celebrate with jazzy live music, enjoy classic Cajun food, and exciting live entertainment.
Carnaval Imaginique is a must see show and our first stop! This is in the Globe Theater so stop as soon as you get in the park or on your way out, either way don’t miss it! You will be holding your breath until the final second. Included in park admission and if you have the Platinum Membership you get reserved seating.
Bourbon Street Brigade is in the San Marco Theatre, which is an outdoor theater. Anna and Kianna put on an amazing performance with classic rock songs from Sheryl Crow, Dolly Parton and more! Just a warning, you will be dancing in your seat and singing along! Show included in park admission.
Take a break in the Das Festhaus. Enjoy a quick snack or a full meal and immerse yourself in the New Orleans Jazz Band. This is an exciting performance as the band walks through the audience as they make their way to the stage.
Be sure to grab the Masquerade Scavenger Hunt when you enter the park. Kids will enjoy looking for the hidden masks throughout the park. Local tip, two kid friendly areas open for kids: Sesame Street Forest of Fun and Land of Dragons. Both are excellent places for kids to play and great for kid rides.
Over 40 Mardi Gras inspired food options including Crawfish Boil, Seafood Gumbo and Fried Oyster Po’ Boy. We HIGHLY recommend the beignets at Cafe Lulu in France!
