First Monday of each month from May through August.
Explore the quiet marshes of Powhatan Creek on a free interpretive kayak paddle, guided by naturalists at Eco Discovery Park. On the first Monday from May through August, trips will offer opportunities for the public to learn about the local ecology, view wildlife and kayak one of the Historic Triangle’s most scenic waterways.
Each trip has a limit of 14 participants, with pre-registration required. All participants must review and agree to the Essential Eligibility Criteria and the Release And Waiver of Liability to participate in this event. Trips are free to the public, but participants may only attend one trip in the 2014 series.
Registration will open on the 15th of the month for the following month.
