Independence Day 8k & 5k

Independence Day 8k, 5k Run/Walk

The Fourth of July may be remembered for the Declaration of Independence, but where would we be without the defeat of Cornwallis at Yorktown? Register to walk or run where the American and French allies won the last major battle of the Revolutionary War.

This is a chip-timed 8K event that participants can run or walk. The 5K Fun Run is not timed. The race is run on the Historic Battlefield Tour Road.

Preregistration is recommended online here.

An 8K run on the scenic roads and trails of the Yorktown Battlefield.  Walkers and shorter distance runners are invited to a non-scored 5K event.  Both runs begin and end near Surrender Field.
