Kicks Off For the Fourth Season
The Park Will Feature a Patriotic Fireworks Tribute on July 3 & July 4
WILLIAMSBURG (JUNE 25, 2013) – Busch Gardens joins the nation in celebrating 237 years of independence July 3 – 4 with a patriotic fireworks tribute. The tribute is a part of the park’s fourth season ofIllumiNights: A Busch Gardens Encore, which runs July 1 – August 11.
IllumiNights combines larger-than-life entertainment and nightly fireworks displays to offer park guests a celebratory climax to end a day of thrills and adventure. Busch Gardens sets the stage for an evening of excitement with interactive live shows like the all-new Killarney® Kommotion hosted in the heart of Ireland and Giardino Magico, a show highlighting acrobatic strength and agility in the lush gardens of Italy.
Park performances begin nightly at 5:30 p.m. and culminate with the park’s signature Tour de Force: Fireworks Finale at 9:30 p.m. This spectacular fireworks show blends a beautiful array of color choreographed to an original score that can be viewed throughout the park.
Busch Gardens offers several packages to make this 4th of July holiday and the entire IllumiNights event a memorable experience. On July 3 and 4 dig in to all-American favorites at the 4th of July Picnicwith a delicious all-you-care-to-eat buffet in the Black Forest, then stay and watch the night skies explode in a fabulous fireworks display. Fireworks fans can also experience Busch Gardens’ pyrotechnic extravaganza from the water aboard a Rhine River cruise boat at IllumiNights on the Rhine. The park is offering Fireworks Spectacular on the Rhine, an extended version of the cruise, on July 3 and 4. Kick off the weekend Thursday through Sundays with the Dessert & Fireworks Buffet. The all-you-care-to-eat buffet in France offers the sweetest location to enjoy fireworks while sampling delicious desserts.
IllumiNights, along with Busch Gardens’ live concerts series and thrill attractions, is a great way for families to fill 99 days of summer fun.
