Historic Garden Week – Williamsburg is featured on April Tuesday April 26, 2022

Color and beauty will be in full bloom when the Garden Club of Virginia brings its Historic Garden Week to Williamsburg.

The Williamsburg Garden Club, part of 48 member clubs that host Historic Garden Week annually, invites visitors to “A Walk in the Park.” This a self-guided tour of Bicentennial Park with docent-led tours of Colonial Williamsburg gardens and the Custis Square Archaeology Project. Tour ticket includes the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg and a guided tour of the National Center for State Courts. Public artworks in Bicentennial Park will inspire grand floral displays created by talented floral designers. Blooming directional markers will guide visitors to an adjoining street filled with a variety of vehicles, including antique cars, bikes, a sleigh, a canoe – all festooned with show-stopping floral decor. Conclude this walking tour on Henry Street at the Wolf family’s formal garden parterre.
