Harvest Festival & Scarecrow Stuffing
Saturday, September 2111 a.m. – 3 p.m.
The Harvest Festival is back! Join James City County Parks & Recreation for this fun, fall annual family tradition on Saturday, September 21, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at Chickahominy Riverfront Park! The festival features free activities for the kids including face painting, arts and crafts, family photo opportunities, inflatables, games (pre-school friendly too!) and hayrides.
Bring your lawn chair for live music with local bluegrass band, Code Blue, from 11:15 a.m.-1 p.m.
Scarecrow Stuffing is back too by popular demand, so come make the biggest, the best, and maybe the only scarecrow in your neighborhood. First-come, first-served while supplies last. Don’t forget your camera! $20/scarecrow (includes all supplies).
There’s no admission fee; however, parking is $10/car (check or cash only). Local merchandise ($), food ($) and community vendors will also be onsite.
Chickahominy Riverfront Park is located at 1350 John Tyler Highway. The event is weather permitting; please call the Activities Hotline at 757-259-3232 for any schedule changes before heading out.
